MY WORK
MEDIA RELATIONS
I design comprehensive campaigns to build brand awareness, drive thought leadership, and strengthen organizational reputation. This includes crafting strategic media outreach plans, developing compelling press materials, and securing high-impact media placements across local, national, and trade outlets. By cultivating strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry leaders, I have successfully positioned organizations as trusted voices in their respective fields. From press conferences to targeted pitch campaigns, I consistently deliver results that align with broader communication and business objectives.
In 2020, Amazon was building 11 warehouses across seven Arizona cities, followed by two additional locations in 2021, creating 4,000 new jobs. I created a media relations campaign to announce the openings, strategically positioning Amazon as a premier employer, community partner, and key economic driver in a state severely impacted by unemployment during the COVID-19 pandemic. To kick off the campaign, I organized a construction preview event for broadcast media at Amazon's newest robotics fulfillment center. In addition to media training the company’s spokesperson for a full day of interviews, I authored all content, including key messages, a press release with third-party validator quotes, and three supplemental fact sheets. My efforts resulted in 86 media mentions and 37 social media posts.
Four months later, I leveraged the same strategy to announce eight new Amazon warehouses and 2,000 jobs in Nevada. The announcement drove 70 media placements and 25 social media posts.

INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
I specialize in internal communications that inform, engage, and inspire diverse employee audiences. Through strategic messaging and a mix of channels—including executive communications, keynote presentations, video storytelling, internal newsletters, and town hall production—I help foster connection, alignment, and a strong sense of community within the organization. By leveraging storytelling techniques and tailored content, I ensure employees stay engaged with key initiatives and the company’s broader mission.
This internal video features senior leaders thanking employees for their dedication during a high-volume period. Through heartfelt messages and engaging visuals, the video reinforced appreciation, made employees feel valued, and recognized their critical role in the company’s success.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of leading large-scale volunteer campaigns, employee appreciation initiatives, collection drives, and community donations—efforts that reflect my personal commitment to fostering a positive impact both within the company and the broader community.
One of my favorites to organize was the "Summer Water Challenge," a one-week water collection drive in support of the heat relief campaign benefiting Central Arizona Shelter Services, the state’s largest emergency homeless shelter. This large-scale event was the first of its kind, bringing together thousands of employees across eight Amazon buildings throughout Metro Phoenix. I developed the end-to-end strategy, including internal communications to promote the event, coordinated with volunteer teams at each location to execute the on-site activities, and collaborated with Amazon's transportation fleet to manage the donation pickup and delivery. In just one week, employees donated 43,000 bottles of water—30% of the shelter’s campaign goal of 150,000 bottles.
